On Sunday, November 1st, 2026, the Mesrobian Higher Technical College family came together for a meaningful initiative that went far beyond watching a movie. Through a fundraising screening of the movie St. Charbel, hosted at CITY-PLEX, CITYMALL Dora, we joined hands with one common purpose: to make education possible for two students facing financial difficulties and to give them the opportunity to continue pursuing their dreams.
What began as an initiative became a beautiful expression of solidarity, compassion, and belonging. Every ticket purchased, every person who attended, and every contribution made became part of a greater mission: reminding two young students that their future matters, that their dreams are worth fighting for, and that they are never alone on their educational journey.
And today, we can proudly say: WE MADE IT!
Thanks to the generosity and commitment of everyone who supported this initiative, we have secured the educational support of both students. Beyond financial assistance, we have given them something even more meaningful: a reason to smile, renewed hope, and the reassurance that they can walk back into their classrooms with confidence and dignity.
Tomorrow, they will return to their classes carrying more than their school bags. They will carry with them the kindness, generosity, and solidarity of an entire community that believed in them.
Our heartfelt appreciation goes to everyone who contributed to making this initiative a success: our College administration, teachers, staff members, students, parents, friends, and all those who purchased tickets, attended the screening, or supported the project in any way.
A special word of gratitude goes to CITY-PLEX Management at CITYMALL Dora for their cooperation and support in hosting this meaningful initiative.
To everyone who stood beside us, thank you for proving that when a community comes together with a sincere heart, even the smallest gesture can make a life-changing difference.
At Mesrobian Higher Technical College, we believe that education is not simply about opening classroom doors; it is about making sure that every student has the opportunity to walk through them.
Because sometimes, the greatest success is not measured by what we organize, but by the lives we touch along the way.
Together, we did more than raise funds. We raised hope. ❤️
