On October 6, 2026, the Armenian Catholic Mesrobian High School had the pleasure and honor of welcoming Mr. Albert Boghossian, renowned philanthropist and businessman of the Boghossian Foundation, and Mrs. Mary Boghossian Salameh, who oversees the activities of the Boghossian Foundation in Lebanon.
The guests met with Mesrobian Principal Mr. Gregoire Kaloust, during which they were given a comprehensive overview of the school’s educational vision, day-to-day activities, innovative programs, and developments achieved in recent years. The meeting was followed by a tour of the school’s various departments. Our distinguished guests expressed their admiration for the school’s organization and purposeful work and highly appreciated the initiatives undertaken to further develop its educational environment.
Taking advantage of the occasion, Mr. Kaloust invited Mr. Boghossian to officially launch the operations of the school’s newly created AI administrative assistant, “Mesro.”
Albert Boghossian is an internationally renowned jeweler, businessman, and philanthropist. Building upon the Boghossian family’s longstanding tradition in jewelry, he has successfully combined entrepreneurship, art, and innovation, bringing international recognition to the Bogh-Art brand. He is also a key member of the founding family of the Boghossian Foundation. The Foundation was established in 1992 by Robert Boghossian and his sons, Jean and Albert Boghossian, with a mission to promote art, education, and youth development.
Mary Boghossian Salameh, a member of the Boghossian family, plays an important role in philanthropic initiatives dedicated to education and youth development. In Lebanon, she is one of the leading figures of the Boghossian Foundation’s activities and is responsible for overseeing its educational support programs.
The relationship between the Boghossian Foundation and Mesrobian is particularly significant. For more than three decades, the Foundation has supported Mesrobian. Approximately 25 years ago, together with the Gulbenkian Foundation, it contributed to the extensive renovation and modernization of various sections of the Technical School. Over the years, the Foundation has also provided scholarships to students in need.
Following the devastating Beirut explosion of 2020, the Foundation allocated substantial funds for the restoration of damaged sections of Mesrobian. Among the projects supported by the Foundation, the Boghossian Theatre, adjacent to the Holy Saviour Church, holds a special place and plays a key role in the organization of Mesrobian’s extracurricular activities.
The Boghossian family and Foundation have also been actively engaged in Armenia for decades. Internationally, the Foundation combines its educational and social mission with the promotion of art, culture, and intercultural dialogue.
This visit once again reaffirmed the significance of the longstanding partnership between the Boghossian Foundation and Mesrobian School, united by a shared vision centered on education, youth development, and building the future.
