It is with great joy that we congratulate Arpi Tabakian, a former student and graduate of Mesrobian, on being named to the Dean’s Honor List at AUST.

In a letter addressed to Mesrobian Principal Mr. Gregoire Kaloust, Arpi described her achievement as “the result of all the education, guidance, and support I received throughout my school years.”

On her personal Facebook page, she also shared the following heartfelt message addressed to her late mother:

“I did it for you, Mom.

Every late night, every long study session, every moment I pushed myself when it was hard…I did it hoping to make you the proudest. I hope you’re smiling in Heaven today, because somehow, I can feel that smile all the way from here.

I’ll keep working hard. I’ll keep chasing every dream, even in your absence, because deep down, I know you’re beside me every second, cheering me on just like you always did.

I’m your nurse, Mom. And I promise you, I’ll become the best nurse I can be. I’ll keep making you proud, one achievement at a time.

This one is for you. Always.”
