On August 27, 2026, the closing ceremony of Mesrobian College’s OVASIS Summer Programme took place at the Hovhannes Boghossian Hall, bringing together the 140 children and young people who participated in the programme, the Mesrobian staff, led by Principal Mr. Gregoire Kaloust, the programme’s teachers and coaches, as well as parents and invited guests.

The closing ceremony reflected the same high spirits and continuous energy that had characterised the entire two-month programme.

The participants presented a lively artistic performance centred on the theme of football. The young performers appeared as players and supporters of various national teams, while the teachers took on the roles of coaches and referees, transforming the stage into a vibrant playing field filled with enthusiasm and joy. The ceremony was presented with the assistance of artificial intelligence tools.

The performance received widespread appreciation. Well-known Lebanese-Armenian coach Hasmik Daniel shared her impressions:

“It was wonderful to see the children singing, dancing, and expressing themselves with confidence and joy. Our new generation is filled with tremendous creativity and potential. Creating environments where they can learn, connect with one another, express themselves, and simply enjoy their childhood is one of the most meaningful investments we can make in their future. We warmly congratulate the entire team for this beautiful production and their dedicated work.”

The 26th edition of the OVASIS Summer Programme for 2025–2026 brought together participants not only from various regions of Lebanon but also from abroad. Through a wide range of activities, the programme encouraged the participants’ enthusiasm for sports, stimulated their creativity, and promoted the development of friendships and social connections.

The programme included drama therapy, digital science sessions, dance, and music. Cultural encounters, cooking classes, and weekly outings were also organised. According to the participants, OVASIS left them with a rich collection of unforgettable memories.

Mr. Gregoire Kaloust highly commended the dedicated work of the programme’s staff and expressed his gratitude to all parents for their trust. He also conveyed his great satisfaction that, through everyone’s collective efforts, the children were able to enjoy one of the most memorable summers of their lives.
