On July 1, 2026, in the presence of parents, staff members, and 140 children and teenagers, the 26th edition of the “Mesrobian Ovasis” Summer Program at Mesrobian Armenian Catholic High School in Beirut was officially launched. This colorful eight-week journey has brought together participants not only from various regions of Lebanon but also from abroad.

The first month of OVASIS was a complete success, filled with high spirits and nonstop activity. Every corner of Mesrobian was transformed into a lively art studio, sports field, and performance stage, where joy, learning, and new friendships flourished.

Here is how the heart of “Ovasis” beat throughout its first four weeks:

Sporting energy: Lively sessions of basketball, football, karting, cycling, and daily exercise, during which the children also learned the importance of teamwork.

Creative activities: Painting and handicraft workshops where the children’s imaginations came to life through beautiful creations.

Personal development: Unique drama therapy sessions that encouraged participants to develop self-awareness and enhance their emotional well-being.

Digital learning: Robotics courses designed to introduce participants to the sciences of the future and foster creative thinking.

Stage and music: Singing, dancing, and rhythmic exercise sessions that filled the school with energy and enthusiasm every day.

Special performances: A puppet show, a magician’s visit, and a performance by the beloved singer Lusig, which delighted and entertained our young participants.

Cultural experiences: A theatrical performance by Gisèle Hachem that captivated everyone’s attention, along with movie screenings.

Cooking classes: Our little chefs prepared their first delicious treats.

Water and fun: Joyful moments in the swimming pool and exciting water games that transformed the summer heat into pure enjoyment.

Birthday celebrations: Warm group celebrations honoring all participants born during the month of July.

Friday outings: Each week at “Ovasis” concluded with special entertainment programs and excursions that offered the children unforgettable experiences, including visits to the X-Park and Recreao playgrounds, followed by group lunches at their favorite restaurants.

The first month of the “Ovasis” Summer Program has left behind a wealth of unforgettable memories. The coming weeks promise to be even more exciting, filled with new surprises and endless enthusiasm.
