Mesrobian Excels at LEVAM Sports Championships with Outstanding Achievements Across Multiple Disciplines
The Armenian Catholic Mesrobian High School delivered an exceptional performance at the Lebanese Armenian Secondary Schools Sports Championships (LEVAM), achieving remarkable results and once again affirming its leading position not only in academics but also in athletics.
Our student-athletes represented Mesrobian with distinction across various disciplines, including athletics, cycling, chess, table tennis, basketball, and football, demonstrating talent, dedication, discipline, and true sportsmanship.
In the basketball competitions, Mesrobian teams achieved impressive results. The Senior Boys' and Senior Girls' teams both secured second place, while the Junior Boys' team claimed the championship title by finishing first. The Junior Girls' team earned an admirable third-place finish.
Mesrobian athletes also made the entire school community proud during the football tournaments. The Senior Boys' team finished in second place, the Girls' team also secured second place, and the Junior Boys' team emerged as champions, capturing first place.
A particularly remarkable achievement came in the athletics championships, where Mesrobian High School ranked first among all participating Lebanese Armenian schools. Our athletes returned home with an impressive total of 25 medals: 11 gold, 5 silver, and 9 bronze, marking an outstanding and exceptional accomplishment.
Mesrobian students also excelled in the cycling competitions, winning 1 gold and 3 bronze medals. In chess, the school added another distinction to its record with a silver medal winner, further enriching its list of athletic achievements.
These outstanding results are a testament to the perseverance, determination, and dedication of our students. They deserve our pride and heartfelt congratulations. We also extend our deepest appreciation and gratitude to our coaches and mentors, whose commitment, patience, and professional guidance played a vital role in these successes.
