On Thursday, February 26, a videoconference brought together Grade 10 students from the Armenian Catholic Mesrobian High School and students from Lycée Saint-André in France.
During this virtual meeting, the Mesrobian students received letters from their French pen pals. They read them with great enthusiasm and then, in turn, shared information about their hobbies, interests, and daily lives.
This warm exchange allowed the students to develop their language skills, broaden their cultural awareness, and form their first bonds of friendship beyond borders.
A wonderful human and educational experience that highlights the importance of intercultural dialogue and cooperation between schools.
Le jeudi 26 février, une visioconférence a réuni les élèves de la classe de Seconde du Collège Mesrobian des Arméniens Catholiques et ceux du lycée Lycée Saint-André en France.
Lors de cette rencontre virtuelle, les lycéens de Mesrobian ont reçu les lettres de leurs correspondants français. Ils les ont lues avec beaucoup d’enthousiasme et ont ensuite partagé, à leur tour, des informations sur leurs loisirs, leurs centres d’intérêt et leur quotidien.
Ce moment d’échange chaleureux a permis aux élèves de développer leurs compétences linguistiques, d’enrichir leur ouverture culturelle et de tisser de premiers liens d’amitié au-delà des frontières.
Une belle expérience humaine et pédagogique qui illustre l’importance du dialogue interculturel et de la coopération entre établissements.
26 Փետրուարին, Հայ Կաթողիկէ Մեսրոպեան բարձրագոյն վարժարանի 10-րդ դասարանի աշակերտները եւ Ֆրանսայի Սեն-Անտրէ լիսէի աշակերտները հերթական հանդիպումը ունեցան առցանց դրութեամբ։
Հանդիպման ընթացքին Մեսրոպեանի աշակերտները մեծ ոգեւորութեամբ ընթերցեցին իրենց ֆրանսացի դասընկերներէն ստացած նամակները, ապա իրենց հերթին տեղեկութիւններ տուին իրենց նախասիրութիւններուն, հետաքրքրութիւններուն եւ առօրեայ կեանքին մասին։
Այս ջերմ փոխանակումը աշակերտներուն կարելիութիւն տուաւ զարգացնելու իրենց լեզուական հմտութիւնները, ընդլայնելու մշակութային իրազեկութիւնը եւ հիմք դնելու սահմաններէն անդին բարեկամութեան առաջին կապերուն։
Հանդիպումը եղաւ հրաշալի մարդկային եւ կրթական փորձառութիւն մը, որ շեշտեց միջ-մշակութային երկխօսութեան եւ դպրոցներու միջեւ համագործակցութեան կարեւորութիւնը:
