The Armenian Catholic Mesrobian High School was honored to receive the auspicious visit of Dr. Hrayr Jebejian, Secretary General of the Arabian Gulf Bible Society, and his wife, sociolinguist Dr. Arda Boynerian-Jebejian, on November 3, 2025.

In the company of the Principal, Mr. Gregoire Kaloust, and the school’s chaplain, Father Sahag Keshishian, the guests met with our students from grades 3 to 6, spoke about the book ‘Let’s Read and Tell the Children’s Bible Together’ published by the society, and presented each student with a copy of it. The presentation-wine reception of the book took place last week in the ‘Nirva and Varouj Nerguizian’ auditorium of the St. Savior Church, under the patronage of the heads of the three Armenian denominations.

The book ‘Let’s Read and Tell the Children’s Bible Together’ is intended for children aged 7-12 and is characterized by a simple and accessible language and an engaging format. It greatly helps young readers to easily understand the Bible stories, participate in discussions around them and perform creative exercises. The book’s impressive illustrations also serve this task.

The book is written in Western Armenian, which makes it an important tool for preserving and strengthening the native language, especially since it is intended to be delivered to Armenian schools and young readers throughout the Armenian Diaspora.

In their words addressed to the students on the occasion of the visit, Dr. Hrayr Jebejian, Dr. Arda Boynerian-Jebejian, Mr. Gregoire Kaloust and Father Sahag expressed their greatest desire that the book ‘Let’s Read and Tell the Children’s Bible Together’ would become not only a source of personal inspiration, but also a source of spiritual development for the entire family, with collective readings under the family roof, so that the word of God may strengthen us all in love, faith and trust in God.

We express our gratefulness to our esteemed guests for their long-term efforts in the field of Christian education and the propagation of the Bible, one of the latest fruits of which was the book ‘Let’s Read and Tell the Children’s Bible Together’ – a precious gift to our students, for which we express our deepest gratitude.

Le Collège Mesrobian des Arméniens Catholiques a eu l'honneur d'accueillir Dr Hrayr Jébédjian, secrétaire général de la Société biblique du Golfe arabique, et son épouse, la sociolinguiste Dr Arda Boynérian - Jébédjian, le 3 novembre 2025.

Accompagnés du Directeur, M. Grégoire Kaloust, et de l'aumônier, le père Sahag Kéchichian, les invités ont rencontré les élèves de l’EB3 à l’EB6, leur ont présenté le livre « Lisons et racontons ensemble la Bible pour enfants » publié par la société, et ont offert un exemplaire à chaque élève. La réception organisée la semaine dernière pour le lancement du livre, accompagnée d'un verre de vin, s'est tenue dans l'auditorium « Nirva et Varouj Nerguizian » de l'église Saint-Sauveur, sous le patronage des chefs des trois confessions arméniennes.

L'ouvrage « Lisons et racontons ensemble la Bible aux enfants » est destiné aux enfants de 7 à 12 ans et se caractérise par un langage simple et accessible ainsi qu'une présentation attrayante. Il aide considérablement les jeunes lecteurs à comprendre facilement les récits bibliques, à participer à des discussions à leur sujet et à réaliser des activités créatives. Les illustrations, très réussies, contribuent également à cet objectif.

Écrit en arménien occidental, ce livre constitue un outil important pour la préservation et le renforcement de la langue maternelle, d'autant plus qu'il est destiné aux écoles arméniennes et aux jeunes lecteurs de toute la diaspora arménienne.

Dans leurs discours adressés aux élèves à l'occasion de leur visite, Dr Hrayr Jébédjian, Dr Arda Boynérian- Jébédjian, M. Gregoire Kaloust et le Père Sahag ont exprimé leur souhait le plus cher que le livre « Lisons et racontons ensemble la Bible aux enfants » devienne non seulement une source d'inspiration personnelle, mais aussi un outil de développement spirituel pour toute la famille, grâce à des lectures partagées en famille, afin que la Parole de Dieu nous fortifie tous dans l'amour, la foi et la confiance.

Nous exprimons notre profonde gratitude à nos chers invités pour leur engagement de longue date dans le domaine de l'éducation chrétienne et de la diffusion de la Bible, dont l'un des fruits les plus récents est le livre « Lisons et racontons ensemble la Bible aux enfants », un précieux cadeau pour nos élèves, pour lequel nous leur sommes infiniment reconnaissants.

Հայ կաթողիկէ Մեսրոպեան բարձրագոյն վարժարանը պատիւն ունեցաւ ընդունելու բարեբեր այցելութիւնը Արաբական Ծոցի Աստուածաշունչի ընկերութեան ընդհանուր քարտուղար դոկտ. Հրայր Ճէպէճեանի եւ տիկնոջ՝ ընկերային լեզուաբան դոկտ. Արտա Պոյնէրեան-Ճէպէճեանի, 3 Նոյեմբեր 2025-ին։

Վարժարանի տնօրէն պարոն Կրէկուար Գալուստի եւ եւ հոգեւոր տեսուչ Հայր Սահակ վարդապետ Քէշիշեանի ընկերակցութեամբ, հիւրերը հանդիպումներ ունեցան 3-րդէն 6-րդ դասարանի մեր աշակերտներուն հետ, խօսեցան ընկերութեան հրատարակած «Մանուկներու Աստուածաշունչը միասին կարդանք եւ պատմենք» գիրքին մասին եւ իւրաքանչիւր աշակերտի նուիրեցին օրինակ մը անորմէ։ Գիրքին շնորհանդէս-գինեձօնը տեղի ունեցած էր անցեալ շաբաթ, Սուրբ Փրկիչ եկեղեցւոյ «Նիրվա եւ Վարուժ Ներկիզեան» հանդիսասրահին մէջ, հովանաւորութեամբ հայ երեք յարանուանութեանց պետերուն:

«Մանուկներու Աստուածաշունչը միասին կարդանք եւ պատմենք» գիրքը նախատեսուած է 7-12 տարեկան մանուկներու համար եւ կը յատկանշուի պարզ ու մատչելի լեզուով եւ ներգրաւող ձեւաչափով: Ան մեծապէս կ՛օգնէ, որ փոքր տարիքի ընթերցողները դիւրութեամբ ընկալեն Աստուածաշնչական պատմութիւնները, մասնակցին անոնց շուրջ քննարկումներու եւ կատարեն ստեղծագործական վարժութիւններ: Այդ առաջադրանքին կը ծառայէ նաեւ գիրքին տպաւորիչ նկարազարդումը։

Գիրքը գրուած է արեւմտահայերէնով, ինչ որ զայն կը վերածէ մայրենի լեզուն պահպանելու եւ ամրապնդելու կարեւոր գործօնի մը, յատկապէս, որ ան նախատեսուած է հասցնելու հայկական վարժարաններուն եւ պատանի ընթերցողներուն հայ սփիւռքի ամբողջ տարածքին։

Այցելութեան առիթով, դոկտ. Հրայր Ճէպէճեան, դոկտ. Արտա Պոյնէրեան-Ճէպէճեան, պարոն Կրէկուար Գալուստ եւ Հայր Սահակ աշակերտներուն ուղղուած իրենց խօսքերուն մէջ արտայայտեցին մեծագոյն ցանկութիւն, որ «Մանուկներու Աստուածաշունչը միասին կարդանք եւ պատմենք» գիրքը դառնայ ոչ միայն անձնական ներշնչումի, այլեւ ամբողջ ընտանիքի հոգեւոր զարգացման աղբիւր՝ ընտանեկան յարկի տակ հաւաքական ընթերցումներով, որպէսզի աստուածահաճոյ խօսքը ամրապնդէ բոլորս՝ սիրոյ, հաւատքի եւ Աստուծոյ վստահութեան մէջ։

Երախտագիտութիւն կը յայտնենք մեր մեծյարգոյ հիւրերուն քրիստոնէական դաստիարակութեան եւ Աստուածաշունչի տարածման ի խնդիր իրենց երկարամեայ վաստակին համար, որուն վերջին պտուղներէն մէկն էր «Մանուկներու Աստուածաշունչը միասին կարդանք եւ պատմենք» գիրքը՝ թանկարժէք ընծայ մը մեր աշակերտներուն, որուն համար կը յայտնենք խորագոյն շնորհակալութիւն։
