Mesrobian High School’s Students at the Monastery of Our Lady of Bzommar
Mesrobian High School’s 3rd and 4th grade students were enriched with an unforgettable educational experience by visiting the Our Lady of Bzommar Monastery, one of the most important spiritual and cultural centers of the Armenian people.
The Our Lady of Bzommar Monastery has been one of the strong curators of Armenian culture and spirituality since its foundation. This sacred place preserves priceless testimonies of our people’s history, which connect the past with the present and are the brightest expressions of our national and religious identity.
The monastery’s museum is a unique repository where many valuable objects are exhibited, including relics of saints, personal or service items of prominent Armenian Catholic clergy, the valuable collection of the recently canonized Archbishop Maloyan, etc. Each object is a story and a memory that confirms the uninterrupted perpetuity of our people throughout the centuries.
During the visit, which was organized within the framework of the events celebrating the Feast of the Holy Translators, the students had the opportunity to get acquainted with these invaluable treasures of Armenian culture and spirituality. In the monastery’s library, they witnessed the delicate work of restoring and renewing ancient books and manuscripts. The monastery staff gave professional explanations about the processes of preserving this valuable heritage.
The monastery’s responsible officials warmly welcomed the child guests and accompanied them step by step on this spiritual and cultural journey. Their explanations and words helped the students to deeply understand the value and importance of the heritage of the Armenian people.
The educational importance of such visits is extremely great for Mesrobian High School. Textbooks and classroom work are necessary, but the emotional interaction with history, culture and spirituality is an irreplaceable experience for the children.
When students see with their own eyes the manuscripts written centuries ago, feel the breath of our glorious past and listen to the stories of experts, they not only gain knowledge, but also develop their national identity and sense of responsibility to preserve this heritage and pass it on to future generations.
We express our deepest gratitude to the responsible officials and the assistants of the Our Lady of Bzommar Monastery who warmly welcomed our students and shared their time and knowledge with them.

Les élèves du Collège Mesrobian au monastère Notre-Dame de Bzommar
Les élèves de EB3 et EB4 du Collège Mesrobian ont vécu une expérience éducative inoubliable en visitant le monastère de Notre-Dame de Bzommar, l'un des plus importants centres spirituels et culturels du peuple arménien.
Depuis sa fondation, le monastère de Notre-Dame de Bzommar est un conservateur de la culture et de la spiritualité arméniennes. Ce lieu sacré conserve des témoignages inestimables de l'histoire de notre peuple, qui relient le passé au présent et constituent les plus belles expressions de notre identité nationale et religieuse.
Le musée du monastère est un lieu unique où sont exposés de nombreux objets précieux, notamment des reliques de saints, des objets personnels ou liturgiques ayant appartenu à d'éminents membres du clergé catholique arménien, la précieuse collection de l'archevêque Maloyan, récemment canonisé, etc. Chaque objet raconte une histoire, un souvenir qui témoigne de la continuité de notre peuple à travers les siècles.
Lors de cette visite, organisée dans le cadre des célébrations de la Fête des Saints Traducteurs, les élèves ont eu l'opportunité de découvrir ces trésors inestimables de la culture et de la spiritualité arméniennes. Dans la bibliothèque du monastère, ils ont pu observer le travail minutieux de restauration et de rénovation des livres et manuscrits anciens. Le personnel du monastère leur a fourni des explications professionnelles sur les techniques de préservation de ce précieux patrimoine.
Les responsables du monastère ont chaleureusement accueilli les jeunes visiteurs et les ont accompagnés tout au long de ce voyage spirituel et culturel. Leurs explications et leurs paroles ont permis aux élèves de mieux comprendre la valeur et l'importance du patrimoine du peuple arménien.
L'importance pédagogique de telles visites est capitale pour le Collège Mesrobian. Si les manuels scolaires et les cours sont indispensables, le contact émotionnel avec l'histoire, la culture et la spiritualité constitue une expérience irremplaçable pour les enfants.
Lorsque les élèves voient de leurs propres yeux des manuscrits écrits il y a des siècles, ressentent l'atmosphère de notre glorieux passé et écoutent les récits d'experts, ils acquièrent non seulement des connaissances, mais développent également leur identité nationale et leur sens de responsabilité quant à la préservation de ce patrimoine et sa transmission aux générations futures.
Nous exprimons notre profonde reconnaissance aux responsables et aux assistants du monastère de Notre-Dame de Bzommar qui ont chaleureusement accueilli nos élèves et partagé leur temps et leurs connaissances avec eux.

Մեսրոպեան վարժարանի աշակերտները Զմմառու Սուրբ Տիրամօր վանքին մէջ
Մեսրոպեան վարժարանի Գ. եւ Դ. դասարաններու աշակերտները հարստացան կրթական անմոռանալի փորձառութեամբ մը, այցելելով Զմմառու Սուրբ Տիրամօր վանքը՝ հայ ժողովուրդի հոգեւոր եւ մշակութային կարեւորագոյն կեդրոններէն մէկը։
Զմմառու Սուրբ Տիրամօր վանքը իր հիմնադրութեան օրէն եղած է հայ մշակոյթի եւ հոգեւորութեան ամուր աւանդապահներէն մէկը։ Այս նուիրական վայրին մէջ պահպանուած են մեր ժողովուրդի պատմութեան անգին վկայութիւններ, որոնք կը կապեն անցեալը ներկային հետ եւ կը հանդիսանան ամենապայծառ արտայայտութիւններ մեր ազգային եւ կրօնական ինքնութեան։
Վանքին թանգարանը իւրայատուկ պահոց մըն է, ուր ցուցադրուած են մեծարժէք բազմաթիւ առարկաներ, որոնց շարքին՝ սուրբերու մասունքներ, Հայ կաթողիկէ նշանաւոր կղերականներու անձնական թէ ծառայողական իրեր, վերջերս սրբադասուած Մալոյեան արքեպիսկոպոսի արժէքաւոր հաւաքածոն եւ այլն։ Իւրաքանչիւր առարկայ պատմութիւն մըն է եւ յիշողութիւն մը, որ կը հաստատէ մեր ժողովուրդի անխափան շարունակականութիւնը դարերու ընթացքին։
Այցելութեան ընթացքին, որ կազմակերպուած էր Սրբոց Թարգմանչաց տօնը նշելու միջոցառումներու շրջանակին մէջ, աշակերտները հնարաւորութիւն ունեցան մօտէն ծանօթանալու հայ մշակոյթի ու հոգեւորութեան անգնահատելի այս գանձերուն։ Վանքի մատենադարանին մէջ անոնք ականատես եղան հնատիպ գիրքերու եւ ձեռագիր մատեաններու վերականգման եւ նորոգութեան նուրբ աշխատանքին։ Վանքին աշխատակիցները մասնագիտական բացատրութիւններ տուին այս թանկագին ժառանգութիւնը պահպանելու գործընթացներուն մասին։
Վանքին պատասխանատուները սիրալիր ընդունեցին մանուկ հիւրերը եւ քայլ առ քայլ ուղեկցեցան անոնց՝ այս հոգեւոր ու մշակութային ուղեւորութեան մէջ։ Անոնց բացատրութիւններն ու խօսքերը աշակերտներուն օգնեցին խորութեամբ հասկնալու հայ ժողովուրդի ժառանգութեան արժէքն ու կարեւորութիւնը։
Մեսրոպեան վարժարանին համար, նման այցելութիւններու կրթական կարեւորութիւնը չափազանց մեծ է։ Դասագիրքերը եւ դասարանային աշխատանքները անհրաժեշտ են, բայց պատմութեան, մշակոյթի եւ հոգեւորութեան հետ ապրումային շփումը անփոխարինելի փորձառութիւն մըն է մանուկներուն համար։
Երբ աշակերտները իրենց աչքերով կը տեսնեն դարեր առաջ գրուած մատեանները, կը շօշափեն մեր փառայեղ անցեալին շունչը, կը լսեն մասնագէտներուն պատմութիւնները, անոնք ոչ միայն գիտելիք կը ստանան, այլ նաեւ կը զարգանայ իրենց ազգային ինքնութիւնը եւ պատասխանատուութեան զգացումը՝ այս ժառանգութիւնը պահպանելու եւ յառաջիկայ սերունդներուն փոխանցելու համար։
Մեր խորին երախտագիտութիւնը կը յայտնենք Զմմառու Սուրբ Տիրամօր վանքի պատասխանատուներուն եւ աշխատակիցներուն, որոնք սրտաբաց ընդունեցին մեր աշակերտները եւ իրենց ժամանակը եւ գիտելիքները բաժնեցին անոնց հետ։
