On July 2, 2025, the opening of the Mesrobian Armenian Catholic High School’s Oasis Summer Program took place with great enthusiasm in the presence of an unprecedented number of participants, parents and the program’s staff members.
Mesrobian’s Principal, Mr. Gregoire Kaloust, welcomed the participating children and teenagers, and wished everyone pleasant, happy and beneficial days under Oasis’ roof. He expressed confidence that the program staff will do their best to provide the participants with an unforgettable summer vacation.
2024-2025 marks the 25th anniversary of this Mesrobian summer program. This year, ‘Oasis’ will last for 8 weeks, during which participating children and adolescents will engage in sports and other games, drawing, handicrafts, singing and dancing in different groups.
The program includes mathematical ability training in collaboration with the SEMAS company, as well as entertainment programs and field trips on Fridays.
This year, the number of participants in ‘Oasis’ is record-breaking compared to previous years which were greatly affected by the difficult economic, social and security conditions in Lebanon. This summer, ‘Oasis’ has 128 participants from various regions of Lebanon and abroad.
Taking into account the young children’s needs and the parents’ requests, Mesrobian College organized a special program this year as well, called ‘Little Oasis’, before starting the main ‘Oasis’ program.
