Today is a special day in the life of Mesrobian College. Each graduation ceremony is an appreciation of our students' achievements, but it is also an evidence of our school's mission and commitment to Armenian, Christian and human values.

Allow me to begin my speech by expressing my special and profound gratitude to the Abbot of the centuries-old Bzommar Monastery, Reverend Father Mashdots Zahterian, who is the patron of this event. Father Mashdots is a graduate of Mesrobian College, and with his presence today, he symbolizes the contribution that our college has made to spiritual service and intellectual progress from Lebanon to the four corners of the world. He embodies through his person the idea that Mesrobian is not only an educational institution, but also one of the foundations of our community structure and a forge that prepares human potential.

We express our gratitude to the Armenian Catholic Diocese led by the Catholicos-Patriarch of the House of Cilicia, His Beatitude the Patriarch Raphaël Bedros XXI, for their constant care and concern for the school. Mesrobian operates with that blessing and trust.

We’re also grateful to the parish of the St. Savior Church which is the main pledge of the school’s spiritual image. Special thanks to its parish priest, Father Sahag Keshishian, our school’s chaplain, under whose leadership our students are educated in spiritual values. Today they stand on this stage not only as knowledgeable people, but also as dignified individuals, with a firm awareness of their identity and faith.

Mesrobian College is an Armenian school in its essence and spirit. Therefore, Armenian national education remains the core of our mission. Faithful to this idea as always and during the past year, we have devoted a special place to extracurricular activities, initiatives to strengthen cultural and historical roots, in addition to the academic program. In this context, there was a very fruitful partnership with the AGBU online university, the AVC, which opened new horizons for our students in terms of deepening their knowledge of Armenian literature, history and identity.

In sports, we had school and inter-school competitions in which our students showed brilliant results, both on the team and individual levels. We continuously encouraged the spirit of sportsmanship as a means of educating a healthy body and soul.

In the field of professional education, we have taken significant steps to integrate innovative tools into learning. VR (Virtual Reality) tools were implemented which gave our students the opportunity to approach scientific subjects in a clear, experimental and modern way.

Teacher training programs continued on a permanent basis. We collaborated with a number of educational organizations, and our school's educational consultant played a key role in this process with her consistent and organized work.

We also placed great importance on the science lab to strengthen experimental education. We believe that learning should be a fusion of theory and experimentation.

We have adopted a professional approach in the field of health. It is noteworthy that starting next year, a new menu will be will be implemented for the food provided to students, prepared by AUB specialists. This step aims to develop our commitment to raising healthy generations, starting from school.

Our public relations tools—our website, social media, and mass media—were operating with vivacity. These tools are indispensable for communicating our vision to the public, ensuring transparency and strengthening two-way communication.

Mesrobian's openness to the scientific and intellectual environment was continuous. We welcomed many guests from different fields who met with the students and shared their experience and offered them advice. These exchanges greatly expanded the horizons of the students' scientific, literary and human experiences.

Partnership with universities remained an important component of our work. We specially took care of the educational orientation of secondary classes’ students through advisory meetings and direct contacts. We are committed to preparing our students effectively for future fields of study and work. And this work is bearing fruit: we constantly receive news from universities about the successes of our graduates, which not only bring us joy, but also pride. They demonstrate that the members of the Mesrobian family shine in various professions with their diligence and values.

Speaking of the future, I would like to highlight three very important facts:

First, in the next few weeks, we are awaiting a response from the French educational authorities regarding the positive conclusion of Mesrobian’s homologation process, God willing. In this regard, Mesrobian’s dossier is complete, and all the required work has been done. This step will be a great step forward on the path to Mesrobian’s international recognition. Again, God willing, by becoming a homologated school, Mesrobian is about to record an unprecedented achievement, both on the Lebanese and Armenian levels. We promise to inform the public about all of this in the coming days in a detailed manner.

Second, we are very excited and pleased to announce that starting next year, the school will introduce the French Baccalaureate program, starting in the 10th grade. This is both a turning point and a source of pride. We are confident that in this way, our students will have an extremely important choice and a competitive education by international standards.

And third, and no less important, next year's curriculum will include teaching students AI which is artificial intelligence. This is the inevitable direction of modern life and we will prepare our students to be leaders in that future, not followers.

Dear graduates,

Today you will be awarded a diploma. But that diploma is not just a piece of paper. It is a symbol of experiences, efforts, dreams, overcoming difficulties and future goals for each of you.

I address my three heartfelt wishes to you: Strengthen within yourself

Seriousness in your approach to life,

Perseverance so that you may maintain a strong will not to be discouraged or give up in the face of difficulties, and

Hard work, which is the only path to success.

Be assured that new doors, new perspectives and higher stages await you. May your soul always be kept alive by Mesrobian’s love, the pride of Armenian identity and the faith in a bright future.

I would like to extend special congratulations to the Technical Baccalaureate Graphic Design graduates at the Technical College. This is the first year that the Technical College has graduates in this specialization. It must be said that our students have traveled this path with enthusiasm and great success, and we are full of hope that this new direction they have taken will have worthy followers.

Dear Parents,

Your trust in our school, entrusting your children to us, is a great honor. Your sacrifices, your loving care and your encouragement are an invaluable force in the success and future of these youth. Now, the blessing belongs to you. Thank you to each and every one of you.

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the entire staff of Mesrobian and to the employees of all departments whose dedicated work, with the often behind the scenes efforts, and patience made this year successful and fruitful. I would especially like to express my gratitude to our teachers, the intellectual leaders of our students, who not only imparted knowledge, but also spirit, values, and purpose. Your consistency, creative approaches, and compassionate mission are the foundation upon which student success and the school’s reputation are built.

Thank you to the Ladies' Committee of the school who fulfill their duty with maternal care, sacrifices and dedication.

Mesrobian walks the path of progress and loyalty. We believe in the power of education, the value of Armenian upbringing and the victory of united work.

Long live Mesrobian, long live the school that shapes our generations.

May God bless us all.

Congratulations to the 88 graduates of the 86th harvest of Mesrobian in 2025.
