On Monday, May 12, 2025, the Graphic Design students (BT1 to BT3) of Mesrobian Technical College presented the projects they completed during the whole year in a well-organized art exhibition which was held in the Farajian Hall. This event was attended by the students’ parents, their teachers as well as the honorable jury members, Mrs. Jeanette Yapoujian, assistant professor in LAU, and a specialist in artistic drawing, Mr. Hovig Kelenjibashian, assistant professor in AUB, a former teacher and a professional in graphic design as well as Mr. Gregoire Kaloust, the School’s Principal.
Mr. Kaloust made the opening of the art exhibition with a welcome speech and introduced the jury members to the attendees. Then Mr. Serge Hanna, the Head of Department of Mesrobian Technical College, explained the details and process of the competitions that would take place during this exhibition. Mr. Hanna ended his address by thanking the jury members for their presence as well as teachers Mr. Michel Abdel Massih, Mr. Norayr Boudakian and Mr. Avo Karakeshishian for their active participation in the success of this exhibition.
As scheduled, the BT1 and BT2 sketching competition resulted in Jeffry Melkonian getting the 3rd place, Joylin Mazejian the 2nd, whereas Marilynn Yacoubian got a trophy as she earned the 1st place.
All the students got certificates of participation as an encouragement to pursue their passion.
The BT3 student’s artistic works were displayed on individual tables for each one of them comprising all the projects they had made throughout the three BT years. The jury members visited each table and appreciated the students’ artistic works, asking for explanations and grading them. The best project in each course got a ‘Best Reward’ certificate. Then the best designs were chosen and were rewarded as follows:

In the end of this joyful and colorful event, The Principal expressed his appreciation for the students’ artistic expressions and hoped that it could become a yearly tradition.
