On May 8, 2025, in an event that has already become traditional, the graduating class of the Armenian Catholic Mesrobian High School ascended the Darb el Sama route to the pilgrimage site of Harissa, starting from Sahel Alma (Jounieh). Accompanied by the school’s Principal, Mr. Gregoire Kaloust, the students covered approximately 3 kilometers on foot. At seven stops along the route, they read intentions, prayed the Rosary and asked for protection and blessings for themselves and their loved ones in the sanctuary of the Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon in Harissa.

Then, the group headed to the Bzommar monastery where they participated in the Holy Mass which was celebrated by Mesrobian’s chaplain, Father Sahag Keshishian. Then, the vice-rector of the monastery, Father Nareg Louissian, presented the history of the Bzommar monastery to the students. The students entered the St. Ignatius Maloyan Museum, the wine cellar and other sections. The day’s journey ended with a joint meal, leaving touching and unforgettable memories in everyone’s minds.
