In the context of the 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, the 6th grade students of our elementary school wrote in response to the question addressed to them: "What do you, as a Diaspora Armenian youth, demand from the Turks and what do you have to say to them?"

Behold, 110 years have passed and we, as Diaspora Armenians, are still pursuing our Armenian Cause to take possession of Historical Armenia. Every Armenian has the right to live on his ancestral land. Let the criminal Turks know that we will fight until death and we will build a FREE, INDEPENDENT AND UNITED HOMELAND, ARMENIA.

SAM GHARIBIAN

I, as an Armenian youth, demand from the Turks my ancestral lands of Marash and our beloved Artsakh. We will continue our struggle until we achieve our goal.

SEROUJ AVEDIS

It is the 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, and the genocide still continues. I say to the Turks: "Enough, get your bloody hands off my people."

FRANCESCO SERMANOUGIAN

I, as a Diaspora Armenian adolescent, the heir of my ancestors, demand that the Turks acknowledge the Armenian Genocide.

I promise to remain loyal to my homeland, today, tomorrow and forever.

PALIG BERBERIAN

I, as an Armenian and patriotic youth, will continue to speak Armenian and teach the future generation our sweet language. I call on everyone not to encourage Turkish products and Turkish culture.

The criminal Turks will receive their punishment and will be subjected to permanent annihilation.

VAHE NOKHOUDIAN

I demand that the Turks admit their crime.

We will realize our dream and raise our tricolor flag on the summit of the Holy Ararat Mountain.

AVO YACOUBIAN

O Turk, despite the passing of time, our memory is still fresh and our demands are unchanged. You want the pain of the Genocide and our losses to be forgotten, but we stand on the path of justice. We will not give up our history, our demands and our ancestral lands. The Genocide is not forgotten until equitable compensation is made.

MARIA ASHJIAN

I demand from the Turks the blood price of our one and a half million martyrs, our ancestral lands and our beloved and noble Ararat.

MARIBEL SAHAGIAN

The Turks’ goal was to massacre the Armenians and leave only one Armenian to put in a museum. Let the Turks know that the Armenian exists and will remain and will still multiply.

KARL BOUROUJIAN

The Turks killed one and a half million innocent Armenians, deported the people of Western Armenia, deporting them to the deserts of Der Zor.

I, Maria Avedis, demand our ancestral lands, our Artsakh from the Turks. We will not surrender, we will not despair and we will fight to regain our rights.

MARIA AVEDIS

You tried to erase us, but we survived. Your deeds will never be forgotten. The truth speaks for us. We stand firm with our religion, our language and our culture, and we will stand firm with our homeland.

ALEX DEKIRMENJIAN

I demand that the Turks acknowledge the inhumane crimes committed by their ancestors. We will continue to fight for the truth. Our demand is just, there can be no peace without justice.

KAREN YEKHEIAN

As a young Armenian in the Diaspora, I demand that the Turks confess the truth and accept the crime they committed. We are alive and we remember and we continue to live, to create and to preserve our roots. The Genocide has not weakened us, but has made us a demanding and determined nation.

OLIVER PAPAZIAN

The Armenian Genocide is the most painful reality in our history, it has left deep wounds in the hearts of the Armenian people.

As a Diaspora Armenian adolescent, I will always remember and always fight for the justice of the Armenian Cause.
