Ahead of the feast of the Holy Resurrection, the educational family of the Mesrobian High School participated with pomp and reverence in the Holy and Immortal Mass which was celebrated by the school’s chaplain, the parish priest of the St. Savior Church, Father Sahag Keshishian.
On this solemn occasion, the ceremony of the Feet Washing took place, in which the students of the graduating class participated, as a symbol of humility, service and the example of love for one another that our Lord Jesus Christ Himself bequeathed to us, for “he who is greatest among you shall be your servant.”
During the Holy Mass, teachers read devotional writings that brought out the deep meaning of the Holy Resurrection: the message of hope, victory, and rebirth. These readings filled the atmosphere of the church with an atmosphere of living reflection and gratitude.
Mesrobian’s teachers also served the altar, emphasizing with their presence that education is not just the transmission of knowledge, but also the formation of the soul.
The Holy Resurrection reminds us that, behind the suffering of the cross, there is always the light of resurrection and salvation. The Mesrobian educational family, with this collective prayer and presence, renewed its faith, living the path of love, loyalty and rebirth.
Christ is risen from the dead. Blessed is the resurrection of the Christ.
