The HORECA (Hotel, Restaurant, and Catering industry) fair’s 29th edition took place in Lebanon, from April 8 to 11, 2025 at the BIEL’s Seaside Arena. This yearly event gathers professionals in Hospitality and Food Service industries as well as people involved in the sector in addition to students who are graduating in this specialization. It comprises competitions of Baristas, Bartenders and Chefs.
Our Hospitality Management students visited HORECA on April 11 and got acquainted with new brands in the food industry.
We congratulate our 3 alumni who participated in this year’s competitions and came back with very honorable results, keeping the name of Mesrobian Technical College shining bright. It is not unusual to have our students and alumni honoring their college wherever they go. In the Cold Sandwich competition, Peter Abrahamian got a silver medal, ranking second whereas Mher Avedikian got a bronze one, ranking third. As for Hratch Baghdassarian, he won the 1st prize and a gold medal in the Hot Sandwich competition. We’re proud of you all!
We look forward to seeing our students’ and alumni’s participation in next year’s edition (from March 24 to 27, 2026) of this prestigious and beneficial event that opens up new possibilities in their future careers in the Hospitality field.
