On April 22, Mesrobian's students took part in the traditional meeting of the Armenian schools’ students in Lebanon which took place in the Catholicossate of Cilicia in Antelias to commemorate the victims of the Armenian Genocide.

On this occasion, Mesrobian's students laid a wreath in front of the Martyrs' Chapel in the presence of the school’s Principal, Mr. Gregoire Kaloust.

Participating in this meeting, Mary Ekmekjian, a student of Mesrobian, recited the poem ‘A Handful of Ashes’ by the great Armenian poet Siamanto who was a victim of the Genocide, communicating to the audience the pain of losing the native land and the will to regain it.
