Before the Easter vacation, the BT3 Hospitality Management students of Mesrobian Technical College had two orientation sessions with the Guidance and Employment Office manager, Ms. Anna Antounian, during which they had the opportunity to learn how to write their CVs and how to get prepared for a job interview.

In the first session, Ms. Antounian explained in a detailed manner to the BT3 students the steps to be followed in writing their CV as well as the importance of having a clear and professional CV which could be updated with any novelty in their studies or professional experience. Ms. Antounian then sent them by email a CV sample and a CV template so that they could fill it in according to her explanations and by referring to the attached sample and resend it to her for editing and finalizing.

During the second session, Ms. Antounian provided the BT3 students with effective ways to get prepared for a job interview after their CV got approved. Starting with the research about the company offering the job opening, she thoroughly explained to them how to present themselves with poise, to establish good communication with the interviewers by answering to all their questions and tackle the important issues in a clear and confident way and to end the meeting in a positive note. Ms. Antounian concluded the session by emphasizing the importance of following up with the company after a week about any updates.
