The administrative and teaching staffs of the Armenian Catholic Mesrobian High School and Technical College were invited to a celebration dinner by the Principal of both schools, during which they celebrated Teacher's Day with enthusiasm and in a happy mood.
The dinner took place on March 8, 2024 at the ZONE restaurant and was attended by 110 staff members as well as by the vice parish priest of the St. Savior Church, Father Sahag Keshishian.
In his speech, the Principal of both schools, Mr. Gregoire Kaloust, once again emphasized the role of the teacher in the development of new generations as well as in the progress and well-being of human society in general. He especially observed that we’re living in very complex and controversial times, where changes on various grounds are taking place very quickly, putting teachers under a greater obligation to keep pace with these rapid developments and increasing the challenges that they have to face. The Principal expressed his satisfaction that a coherent team has been created in Mesrobian, whose members make every effort to perform their professional duties well in an atmosphere of cooperation and mutual respect.
Mr. Kaloust said that during the 85th anniversary celebration of the school’s foundation which will be held in May, a group of meritorious teachers will be awarded by the administration. On this occasion, he awarded Mr. and Mrs. Manuel and Salpy Keshishian, since that they will be abroad on that month.
The evening, to which the Grade 12 students of Mesrobian High School participated with addresses, an Armenian dance and performing Greek music, went on in a happy atmosphere uplifted by the attendees’ dances and songs.
