Christmas Holydays

Living Nativity Scene

The beautiful and soul-stirring «Living Nativity» scene is presented traditionally by the kindergarten students of the Armenian Catholic Mesrobian High School. Each year, during Christmas holidays, the kindergarten lovely students, along with the educators, present a special play to the believers through singing and acting live in front of the altar in the St. Savior church.

All the children from KG1 to KG3 classes participate indiscriminately in this play. Each in his or her turn plays the role of Joseph and Mary, the three Magi and the angels.

This year too, on the morning of Wednesday 21st December 2011, our diligent children presented with great faith and emotion the «Living Nativity» scene. They told the story of Christ’s Nativity and they beautified that story by acting lively and singing Christmas songs in Armenian, French and Arabic.

At the end of the «Living Nativity» scene, the parish priest of St. Savior church Father Sarkis Tavitian made a speech in the presence of all the believers, parents, relatives, teachers and students and he wished them all a Merry Christmas. He also hoped that each parent will have the cave of faith at home, a faith that is as pure as the faith of the children who presented the «Living Nativity» scene that day.

In this way, the Armenian Catholic Mesrobian High School began its Christmas celebrations within the school.
