On Thursday, the 26th of May 2011, at 7:30 PM, the first end of year celebration of �Alice Nerguizian� Nursery, founded in December 2010, took place in the Armenian Catholic Mesrobian High School courtyard.

This was a special ceremony not only in the sense that it was the end of the year for a newly founded nursery, yet because it was unprecedented for it was a solemn ceremony of distribution of diplomas during which 38 children graduated from the nursery and received their diplomas as a �right� to enter the kindergarten.


Miss Isabelle Levonian a member of the school administrative staff greeted the audience and invited on stage the principal of �Alice Nerguizian� nursery Mrs. Salpi Moughalian to make her speech. Mrs. Moughalian mentioned �today is a special day and a great occasion in the lives of our children, as well as a pretty emotional day for the parents. She assured that although almost nobody among the little graduates will remember this day in the future, however their parents �will remind them of it, so that they know in the future that they had spent the beautiful and happy years of their life in this nursery �. The principal was thankful to all the parents for entrusting �Alice Nerguizian� Nursery with the care of their beloved children, where their children �play with toys, draw and paint and prepare handcrafts. They do all this with a shining smile and they feel a real spiritual satisfaction. In addition, they eat delicious and nutritious meals prepared by a professional cook�.


In her speech, Mrs. Moughalian gave also special thanks to the ladies who clean the nursery and to all the educators �who are doing their job to a greater extent and who are excellent and are the key caretakers of the nursery�. At the end of her speech, Mrs. Salpi Moughalian was thankful to every individual for helping to organize the ceremony.


Then, all the children from the nursery�s three age groups presented successively an interesting artistic program that included dancing, singing in Armenian and French languages and reciting poems. Alongside this program, a huge screen was placed in the left corner of the stage and was showing the film that was prepared especially on this occasion and was telling about the work done for the organization of the ceremony. The author of this film as well as the decorator of the stage using a beautiful style was the well-known Armenian Lebanese artist and painter Razmig Bertizlian to whom the school Principal Mr. Gregoire Kaloust gave special thanks in his speech later on.


In his speech, the school principal congratulated all the parents on the happy graduation of their children. He said that the unique Armenian singer of children songs Taline was also present at the ceremony. Then, he invited her on stage to distribute the diplomas. Along with the nursery principal, Taline delivered the diplomas to all the children and she took a souvenir photo with them. And as a gift, she sang a beautiful song by greeting the heroes of the day.

The ceremony ended with the �Congratulations� song along with the joyful fireworks.
