After a long summer vacation, the students of the intermediate and secondary classes returned to school. The next day, on Thursday the 30th of September 2010, in the morning, it was the turn of the students of the elementary classes. There was an atmosphere of festivity in the schoolyard. The students as well as their parents were gathered in the schoolyard decorated with colored balloons and a large screen displaying Welcome Back . One of the twelfth grade students Melkon Eledjian made a speech addressed to the students, in which he compared the school history to the book which tells the story of the fruitful garden that we are planting today its 71st tree and we are opening today the blank page of the book telling the story of this garden. Dont think that the story has ended in this way. The fertile field cant cease becoming prosperous. Its impossible. Therefore, this book has certainly a continuation .
Melkon Eledjian continued his speech in which he compared the lovely school to the gardener who takes care of his trees for a long time, so that he harvests their fruits of the day.
The students speech was followed by the performance of the singer of the community Carmen Adjemian. Her magnificent performance of the songs Arach, Arach, Hayasdan and Der Asdvadz, parkt medz captivated all the students and filled them with enthusiasm, by creating a joyful welcome back atmosphere.
The school principal Mr. Gregoire Kaloust made a speech in which he congratulated all the students as well as their parents on the occasion of the beginning of the new school year, by wishing them all a fruitful year.
Then, all the students went to their classrooms in order to start the new school year.
