On Friday, 30^th of October, 2009, at 8:00PM in the evening, the Zavarian Student Association organized its yearly ceremony honoring Lebanese Armenian Terminal students who excelled in the official exams, in "Levon Shant" cultural center.

The ceremony started with the Lebanese and Armenian national anthems. The opening speech was made by Patil Yessayan, who emphasized that this ceremony aims to encourage the Armenian students to be more fruitful and stay connected to its Armenian school and Armenian Community.

Following that, the president of Haigazian University, Rev. Dr. Paul Haydostian, came forward and addressed his sermon to the audience. He stressed that excelling students belong to a nation that possesses all the spiritual, historical, hereditary and geographical assets to excel and serve. The purpose of life is not to pursue higher degrees only, but also to pursue the excellence continuously, he concluded.

Sevag Kendir, Mireille Sarkissian and Sarin Tavitian were the students from Mesrobian who received prices.
