Mesrobian commemorates the Armenian Genocide Mesrobian Technical College
On Monday morning, the 5th of July 2010, there was an active and enthusiastic atmosphere in the playground of both Armenian Catholic Mesrobian Technical College and High School. Mesrobian Technical College launched once again its Oasis Summer Program in which participated 300 students coming from Lebanons various schools as well as from foreign countries to spend a joyful summer full of education and entertainment.

Traditionally, Oasis classes are divided into 2 large groups: Little Masis and Big Masis which, in their turn, are divided into 14 classes, each one carrying the old and new names of Armenian regions, mountains and towns such as Erzurum, Van, Mush, Sipan, Sassoun, Kilikia, Ararat, Sartarabad, Artsakh, etc.

Mesrobian High School and Technical College principal Mr. Gregoire Kaloust made a speech in which he said to the students : Its the twelfth year that we are gathered together to start this joyful summer program. You are all waiting to be entertained and to participate in pleasant and very useful activities. Dear students, you must certainly be disciplined because only you can help to realize the easy-going activities of Oasis . Have fun! .

Then, Der Garabed Tateossian blessed the launching of Oasis activities and after praying together the Lords Prayer and Bahbanich Prayer, he wished them all to spend a good, safe and secure summer.

Lets remind that Oasis activities will last 8 weeks, from 9:00 AM in the morning till 1:00 PM in the afternoon, during which 4 days per week will be consecrated to class activities in which the students will take courses in handwork, sculpture, handicraft, music, dance, aikido, Kung Fu, culinary art, ceramic and stained glass (vitrail). And one day per week, which is Wednesday, will be consecrated to interesting journeys.

Oasis Summer Program has 53 experienced educators and teachers.
