The group of Educational Journalism in Mesrobian held a Meeting with H.B. Nerses Bedros XIX Mesrobian Technical College
On Tuesday, the 7th of September 2010, at 4:30 PM, the group of educational journalism students of the Armenian Catholic Mesrobian High School, accompanied by the school Principal Gregoire Kaloust and the teacher adviser of the group Raffi Demirdjian went to the Armenian Catholic Patriarchate to meet His Beatitude Nerses Bedros XIX Catholicos Patriarch of Cilicia of Armenian Catholics.

In the beginning of the meeting, the school Principal Gregoire Kaloust showed the importance as well as the aims of the educational journalism office in the school. Kaloust added that it is possible to prepare a young manpower in the domain of journalism through an organized and continuous work. He affirmed that the school will support all the initiatives which tend to prepare manpower in the domain of journalism and on the national level.

By appreciating greatly the group�s activity, His Beatitude mentioned that the significant atmosphere, which exists among the group for keeping the work spirit and values, must be expanded among the Armenian students. Nerses Bedros XIX Catholicos Patriarch emphasized that the Armenian students must keep the Armenian language as well as the national, spiritual and intellectual heritage, so that it will be possible to conserve the Armenian existence.

Then His Beatitude got to know each student and his thoughts. In his turn, the teacher adviser of the students� group Raffi Demirdjian presented the group�s future activities and projects. Demirdjian said that in the following months the group will do different publishing, lecturing and writing works, by putting a starting point which is the protection of the heritage and the preparation of young people to keep the heritage.

Let�s mention that before meeting His Beatitude, the students also got to know the works and projects of St. Krikor Naregatsi Center.
