Mesrobian Students take First and Third places during a ceremony honoring excelling students Mesrobian Technical College
On Friday, 5th of March, 2010, at 6:30PM in the evening, in Hamazkain "Levon Shant" cultural center, the ARF Lebanese Youth Association organized a ceremony honoring Lebanese Armenian students who excelled in the Lebanese official Brevet exams.


The speaker of the day was Mr. Gregoire Kaloust, the principal of Mesrobian High School. Mr. Gregoire opened up his speech, congratulating the presence on the recognition of the Armenian Genocide by the U.S House Foreign Affairs Committee on March 4, 2010. This victory, Mr. Gregoire continued, is the promising start of successive bigger victories.


In his speech, Mr. Gregoire stressed on the idea that nothing should hinder the efforts to educate the young Armenians to become a rational, efficient, and fruitful human being.


Regarding the excelling students, Mr. Gregoire congratulated them. Moreover, He encouraged the organizing body for these kinds of gathering which foster solidarity among Armenians.


It is worthy to note that five Mesrobian students have been honored this year. Among them, Nayiri Skayan and Diana Yeghia took the first and third place among all Lebanese Armenian students.
