Mesrobian High School is proud to announce that Hagop Tashjian, a 4th grade student in Mesrobian, has won the golden medal of "LEVAM" chess contest.

The "LEVAM", a Lebanese-Armenian inter-school multi-sport competition, launched the chess contest on Saturday, 13th of December, 2008, at 2:00PM. Hagop, who represented our school, won the first five matches and settled the last match for a draw.

"This victory is also ours", said the school's elementary section's monitor, Mr. Harout Atamian, congratulating Hagop in front of the students, "because Hagop was representing Mesrobian High School in this contest."

The administration of Mesrobian, in its turn, congratulates Hagop and his family for this victory, wishing him greater success in chess, education and life in general.
