On Sunday, 30^th of November, 2008, at 4:00PM, Harboyan and Mesrobian High Schools organized the "Benevolent Greeting Cards" exhibition, under the patronization of the DMS Onlus of Italy. The event took place in AUC Hall with the participation of the students of the above mentioned two schools, as well as Mesrobian Technical College's BP (Preparatory Brevet) students.


The opening ceremony of the exhibition was made by the president of the DMS Onlus Organization: Professors Angelo and Barbara Bosio. They had specially arrived in Beirut on this occasion. Mrs. Rita Boyadjian, the principal of the Harboyan School, and Mr. Gregoire Kaloust, the principal of Mesrobian High School, as well as a great number of parents, teachers, staff and friends of Harboyan and Mesrobian schools were present. After the opening, they all moved around to watch the greeting cards made by the students.


Following that, the presents went to Hovhannes Boghossian theatre hall. Mr. Gregoire Kaloust delivered his speech to the audience. He specially welcomed Professors Angelo and Barbara Bosio, showing his gratitude for their support. An artistic program followed the speech, where the students dancing group of Harboyan School performed Armenian traditional dances.


At the end of the artistic program, the distribution of the prizes took place. Students receiving the first prize won full scholarships, while the ones receiving the second prize won half scholarships, and the ones receiving the third won one third scholarships. Prizes of USD $100 were also distributed. In total, 57 students received prizes. After which, the president of DMS Onlus, Prof. Angelo Bosio, delivered words from the heart. He first greeted the audience in Armenian, then, continuing in English, thanked the principals of both schools and expressed his willingness to help Lebanese Armenian schools in the coming years, too.

On Monday that followed, on 1^st of December, 2008, the Italian couple visited both schools, in order to submit a souvenir for each and every student who participated in this competition.
