On Sunday, the 2nd of March 2008, at six o'clock in the evening, the Armenian Catholic Mesrobian High School welcomed the national benefactor, Mr. Kapriel Tchemberdjian and the hard-working composer of the Armenian Republic and the president of the composers' union of Armenia, Mr. Robert Amirkhanian. The respectable guests were accompanied by the president of the Lebanese National Committee of Hamazkayine, Mr. Hagop Ladoyan, the editor in chief of " Aztag " daily newspaper, Mr. Shahan Kandaharian, the intellectual historian, Mr. Yervant Pamboukian and one of the school former alumni, Mr. Raphael Oumoudian. The school principal, Mr. Gregoire Kaloust, went to meet the respectable guests. A group of members of the administration body of the school was also present at this meeting.

During the serious conversation which was held at the meeting, the school principal, Mr. Gregoire Kaloust, talked about the school plans at present and in the future and he acquainted those present at the meeting with the school website, in addition to its monthly newspaper. Then, the guests went for a walk in the school.

At the end of the meeting, the native talented artist, Mr. Robert Amirkhanian wrote his words in the school Golden Book where he particularly said the following: " I declare to this miraculous cradle, the Mesrobian school indefatigable and encouraging personnel who ennobles the Armenian children's spiritual character, my warm affection and feelings of self-sacrifice amicably and my cooperation with resolute readiness ".

The respectable guests left the school by having a favorable and a good impression of the school.
