On Thursday, 13th of September, 2007, Mesrobian High School administrative and academic staff had their "Start of the Year" meeting.

At 9:00 o'clock in the morning, the teachers and personnel headed to the St. Savior Church, were they participated to the Holy Mass lead by Father Garabed Tateossian.

After the Holy Mass, the staff moved to the AUC hall, to hold the Annual "Start of the Academic Year" meeting.

The meeting was opened by Mr. Gregoire Kaloust, the Principal of Mesrobian High School, who welcomed all the presents hoping for all to have a fresh start after the summer vacation.

After presenting the school administrative hierarchy, Mr. Gregoire mentioned the duties of the teachers and personnel, in order to have a successful academic year. He emphasized the fact that Mesrobian, being a Catholic school, has the responsibility of spreading the Christian Faith in the new generation. He continued by presenting Mesrobian's excellent results recorded in the official exams, hoping to have brighter results in the upcoming academic year.

As for the construction projects, Mr. Gregoire mentioned the completed ones first: the school parking, the student playground on the roof of the school as well as the new student auditorium and the library. Then, he presented the new projects: the renewal of classroom furniture, the building of separate playgrounds, as well as the addition of new floors to the kindergarten building. Mr. Gregoire also expected the inauguration of the St. Mesrob memorial very soon.

On the other hand, special care will be given to the students' health, by computerizing students health conditions. A student health profile can be obtained by inserting the student's special magnetic card into the system. This way each student condition can be tracked more accurately and measures can be taken according to the identified changes.

Mr. Gregoire ended his speech by encouraging the academic and the administrative members to work faithfully and enthusiastically during the academic year 2007-2008.
