On April 21 at 18:30 at Centro Fiera in Montichiari - a small city 18 km from Brescia, the new edition of SERIDO' 2008 has been presented to the press and the authorities.

Seridò is the biggest event for children in Italy, where over 100 different games are offered free of charge to all children less than 12 years of age.

Seridò is now at XII editions, the first on May 10 1997.

This year Seridò will open on April 24 - 25 and 26 - April 30 and May 1 and May 3 and 4.

Last year 140.000 people attended the event.

This year more people came.


Every year the ADASM - FISM which organizes Seridò offers to all the participants the possibility of a concrete act of help in the field of education.

This year the sponsored project is Mesrobian Kindergarten, by DMS Onlus in Bourj Hammoud.

More than 260 Infant Schools of the Brescia region will participate in this benevolent event which is named VICINI DI PACE (our peace neighbors) and is articulated in:

- A pencil friend action among Italian and Lebanese Catholic schools, with painted cards sent from Italy to Lebanon and from Lebanon to Italy.

Angelo and Barbara Bosio will reach Beirut in May with 300 white cards to be painted by Lebanese children for their Italian correspondents.

- In September a group of teachers of Lebanese infant school will visit Italy for a stage.

- Every school of ADSM FISM from April 25 till November 25, 2008 will sell to students' families a kit of six colored cards which were especially prepared for this vent by a well known artist in the field of child education; the money from this operation will be devoted to DMS Onlus Brescia for Mesrobian Kindergarten construction.

President of ADASM FISM (Association of catholic infant school in Italy) Dr. Lorenzo Albini is the chief of the project under the auspices of the DMS Onlus (Barbara and Angelo Bosio).

Mr. Fabio BETTI is the responsible for the card project - idea, printing, sending, etc.


Seridò 2008 will be described in a DVD which will be presented in Mesrobian on May 23, 2008 by Barbara and Angelo Bosio DMS Onlus in collaboration with ADAMS FISM.


During the press presentation in Brescia, the Principal of Mesrobian Mr. Gregoire Kaloust made a speech on Mesrobian Kindergarten and emphasized on its value and significance for the Armenian Catholics in Beirut.
