We had previously reported that the final year students of the Armenian Catholic Mesrobian High School were going to go to Jordan during the Easter vacation. This trip was a pleasant gift coming from Italy. The initiative of the president of DMS Onlus organization of Brescia, Dr. Angelo Bosio and his wife Dr. Barbara Bosio had encouraged greatly the students. The day of the departure was designated on Tuesday, the 25th of March 2008. That day, all 31 students, without exception, being guided by the school principal, Mr. Gregoire Kaloust, departed from Chaghzoyan center and went to Jordan taking the road to Damascus.

During the five days, the group visited the ancient Roman towns of Jerash and Karak, Amman, Petra, Jabal Ram, Dead Sea, Aqaba. They also visited the Armenian Catholic Parish in Amman. Moreover, they went to the place where Jesus was baptized. Then, they went back to Beirut. During the lively promenade, the group was accompanied by the director of the "Stronger Team" company in Jordan, Mr. George Inkababian.

The idea and the realization of this interesting five days' trip were the best and the greatest gift of the 2007-2008 school year to the final year students. This trip to Jordan during their lifetime will remain as a good and a pleasant souvenir as well as a worthy reward in the long and difficult academic years to come.
