Lately, the administration of Mesrobian High School has received a DVD and a symbolic donation from
Mrs. Seta Antounian, the Canadian Armenian citizen living in Montreal.
To our much amazement, the DVD and the donation represented a Benefit Concert organized in Montreal, aiming to help two Lebanese-Armenian educational institutions:
Armenian Catholic Mesrobian High School and
Armenian Evangelical School of Trad.

The event was conceived and organized by the Canadian Armenian high school student,
Ms. Lory Antounian. The young and graceful lady was able to gather around her a dozen of artists, among them Armenians and non-Armenians, adults and adolescents, who performed classical and non-classical songs and music, which made the Benefit Concert a success. The success of the event was also achieved with the help of
Most Reverend Father Kevork Zabarian, who had set the Apikian Hall of
Our Lady of Nareg Parish Church under the disposition of Ms. Lory.
During the event, the father of Ms. Lory,
Mr. Hampartsoum Antounian, in a bilingual speech, presented both Armenian Catholic Mesrobian High School and Armenian Evangelical School of Trad to the audience, along with some pictures.
We thank Ms. Lory for her initiative, as well as to all who helped in this Benefit Concert. We also thank the Armenian Community in Montreal, who provided to this concert its attention and support. Below you will find some pictures of the event.
