The 15th of September, 2006, recorded the start of the year for the Mesrobian High School staff and teachers.

At 8:45 in the morning, the new pastor, Father Gabriel Mouradian, served the Holy Mass.

At 10:00 AM, the staff and teachers gathered in UAC hall for the yearly general meeting.

Mr. Gregoire Kaloust, the executive director of Mesrobian High School, welcomed the school staff and the teachers and expressed gratification for their wellbeing after the terrible war which resulted in mass destruction, massacres and departures in the country. Then he welcomed the school's new orthophonist Miss Nanor Meguerdichian. Miss Nanor will help the students who have pronunciation problems.

As a general evaluation for the academic performance of the high school, Mr. Gregoire presented the 2005-2006 official exams results. The brevet class registered a 100% success, while the three Terminal classes registered altogether registered 74% success.

After the evaluation of the academic performance, the executive director focused on the extracurricular activities of the school. Despite all the difficulties that the country went through, Oasis 2006 was a success. The yearly charitable gala banquet, which was held in Metropolitan Hotel and was sponsored by DMS-Onlus, generated 108 000 U.S. Dollars. Also, several events were held in the college, among which Nariné Krikorian's miniatures exhibition, the kindergarten exhibition "Solid Waste turned to Artwork", the Joint Vartanants Day in UAC hall where first the "Mesrobian Yerk" was performed, etc…

Concerning the changes for the coming academic year, Mr. Gregoire mentioned that there will be different approaches for the parents meeting. As a major change in the administration level, a new SIS system will be implemented. Teacher will follow a repreparation programs and there will be more stress on the students to make them read books.

Mr. Gregoire terminated by encouraging all the teachers to offer their best for the welfare of the students.
