On Wednesday, 9th of May, 2007, Mesrobian High School welcomed ARF Artsakh Central Committee Representative Mr. Arthur Mossiyan, along with his companion Mr. Hagop Havatian.

The honorable guests were welcomed by Mr. Gregoire Kaloust, the Principal of Mesrobian High School. Father Vartan Ashkarian, the President of Armenian Catholic Schools Committee, was also present. They all had a cozy meeting in Father Ashkarian's office.


After the meeting, Mr. Gregoire invited the guests to have a tour within the Mesrobian campus. They visited the different sections of the campus including the newly built student auditorium and the playground on the rooftop of the school.

The visit lasted for around one hour, after which the guests left the school highly impressed. Just before leaving, Mr. Arthur Mossiyian noted down his impressions in the Golden Book of Mesrobian: "Your selfless efforts to keep up the Armenian values among the Armenians are highly appreciated. The Armenian Diaspora, the strength of our Nation, is kept alive as a result of your efforts and the efforts of people like you. I wish you success in this hard and indispensable work."


It is worthwhile to mention that Mr. Arthur Mossiyian is in Lebanon for the purpose of celebrating the 15th anniversary of Shoushy's liberation.

Moreover, yesterday, on Tuesday, 8th of May, 2007, Mesrobian High School has celebrated that anniversary. During the event, a presentation, prepared by the Fund of Artsakh and entitled "A Pride named Artsakh", was shown. Mr. Vartan Tashjian was the speaker of the event.
