On Tuesday, 27 of June 2006, at 6 o'clock in the evening, Mesrobian High School welcomed, from the World Armenian Congress, Mr. Garen Mikayelian, the first vice-president, along with Mr. Vachakan Bedrossian. Note that the well-known Mr. Ara Aprahamian, president of Armenian Union of Russia, is the president of the World Armenian Congress.

Mr. Garen Mikayelian is also the editor of "Armeanski Vestnik" and "Grajdanin" monthly magazines of Moscow.

The honorable guest had a tour in the campus of the High School, getting to know in details the about both Mesrobian High School and Mesrobian Technical College. The guest were impressed by both.

During the cozy meeting, which lasted around three hours, they left their souvenir memos in the Golden Book of the school. Mr. Mikayelian explicitly wrote: "Mesrobian High School is a pride to the Armenian Nation. It is the evidence that Armenians exist, must persist and have great future."

During the meeting, the guests described the programs the World Armenian Congress holds. They envision to plan and execute such programs that help Armenia and Karabagh to develop economically and politically, as well as help the immigration of the Armenian Diaspora to back Armenia as well as make the great nations around the world to accept the Armenian Genocide as it is: a deliberate crime committed by Turkey at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century.

The guests left the Mesrobian campus, expressing their admiration to both the High School and the Technical College of Mesrobian.
