On Wednesday, August 23, 2006, in the evening, Mesrobian Technical College concluded its summer program, Oasis 2006, in a happy celebration.


Oasis 2006, now held for 8 years consecutively by Mesrobian Technical College Administration, has been successfully concluded this year, despite the atrocities committed by the war, which yielded to economic, social and psychological crisis in the country.


For security reasons, the outings planned in the Oasis program was significantly decreased. On the other hand, the extracurricular courses (dancing, singing, drawing, cooking, computer, music) the summer school courses, the Armenian courses (for foreign school students) and sport courses (Kong Fu, Basket Ball) were fully offered.


For one full hour, Oasis students performed dancing and singing in Armenian, Arabic and Western songs as well as Martial Arts show. After the students performance, the director of Mesrobian Technical College, Mr. Gregoire Caloust took a speech and congratulated all, the Mesrobian Administration for its decision, the instructors for their efforts as well as the parents for their trust in Mesrobian.


The celebration ended with the Oasis Song.
