On Thursday, 30th March 2006, Mrs. Albana Dwonch, Manager for Development Initiative of Mercy Corps Lebanon, along with the local projects coordinator Mr. Salah Sekkari, visited the Armenian Catholic Mesrobian High School and met with the executive director, Mr. Gregoire Kaloust.

The nature of the meeting was to be mutually introduced and to look for common grounds for future mutual cooperation.

Mercy Corps, an international charitable organization, which has contributed to several social and economical projects in Lebanon, is intending to open a students' social work office in Bourj Hammoud, in coordination with the municipalicy.

During the meeting, Mesrobian direction and the representatives of the organization brainstormed around the different possibilities where Mesrobian students can get involved in the project. Mr. Gregoire Kaloust promissed full cooperation with Mercy Corps regarding the above mentioned program. He highly appreciated the organization's efforts to enhance the country economically and socially and to help the young students.

The guest took advantage of their presence in Mesrobian and had a toor within the school. They left with the highest positive impressions for future mutual cooperation.
