Mr. Vartan Tashjian, the head of the information office of our school, and his wife, Mrs. Garin Tashjian, won the first prize for their joint painting at the amateur art competition organized by the Armenian Catholic Church of St. Yeghia - St. Gregory the Illuminator which was dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the church's foundation.
At the same competition, the work of Hagop Kojayan, a student of the Mesrobian Technical College, was awarded the prize for the work with the most likes on Facebook.
The prizes were awarded by His Beatitude Raphaël Bedros XXI Minassian, Catholicos Patriarch of Cilicia of Armenian Catholics, during a momentous ceremony, the details of which can be read on the church's website through the provided links (in Armenian and French).
