On April 8, 2024, the Armenian Catholic Mesrobian High School hosted the co-founders of the MIASIN Pan-Armenian friendship platform, Vartan Kaprielian and Christina Saghatelian, who had a meeting with the 11th and 12th grade students and presented them with the goals, structure, features, functions and advantages of the platform.
The guests were welcomed by Vartan Tashjian, Mesrobian's information department’s manager, who emphasized in his brief speech that when using social networks, people must maintain their sincerity, treat others with respect and kindness and examine the information spread on social networks.
The co-founder and executive director of the MIASIN platform, Vartan Kaprielian, declared to the students that the platform is designed to preserve the Armenian identity, promote the development of young talents and provide a special environment for Armenians, regardless of geographical location, linguistic and cultural differences as well as of political or religious beliefs. MIASIN users can organize and participate in various events related to their interests through the tools of the platform, revealing new interests and establishing connections with Armenians who have the same interest in all countries of the world. Mr. Kaprielan mentioned that the purpose of the platform is also to provide access to additional knowledge and skills, to create a favorable environment for constructive discussions and exchange of ideas, to promote the culture of respect and mutual support in the Pan-Armenian environment, to support the cooperation of specialists in different fields and to contribute to the efforts of preservation and repatriation of the Armenians in the diaspora.
At the end of the meeting, Vartan Kaprielian and Christina Saghatelian who is the director of the office of the MIASIN platform in Armenia, answered the students' questions.
