On the occasion of the Week of the Union of Churches, on February 2, 2023, the Armenian Catholic Mesrobian High School held a traditional meeting, during which the students of the school got acquainted with the summary of the history of the three denominations of the Armenian Church and the idea of the union of churches.

Reverend Pastor Hrayr Cholakian, Archpriest Paren Vartanian, Reverend Father Raffi Hovhannessian, Mesrobian's spiritual director, and Father Sahag Keshishian, the parish priest of the St. Savior Church, spoke at the meeting initiated by the office of Mesrobian's spiritual director.

The Armenian clerics explained to the students that the Church is one with different denominations. They presented the main principles of the Creed of the Armenian Church, which unite the Armenian believers in one body, whose head is Jesus Christ. The idea that Armenian Church organizations pursue the same goal, which is to introduce people to Christ, was emphasized, and only by accepting it can one be awarded the heavenly kingdom. The speakers affirmed that what unites Christians is incomparably greater than what could divide them, which is a reliable basis for the strength of the Church.

Reverend Father Raffi Hovhannessian thanked the meeting attendees and wished that the students of Mesrobian always live and think according to the spirit of unity.

The meeting ended with a prayer of good wish for the Union of Churches in the St. Savior Church.
