On June 15, 2022, the 6th grade students of the Armenian Catholic Mesrobian High School bid farewell to elementary school with a special ceremony in the renovated Hovannes Boghossian Theater.
In their opening speeches, students Sarkis Jernezian and Tsoler Tashjian thanked the Principal as well as their teachers and parents for their care, encouragement and guidance that enabled them to successfully complete the elementary school and move on to the next stage, well prepared and full of enthusiasm.
In groups on the stage, the students conveyed special messages to their teachers, thanking them one by one for their hard work and effort.
In the artistic part of the ceremony, the 6th graders performed three songs in groups and dances, whereas Anita Megerian, Nayiri Arnelian and Varti Chalian executed pieces of music.
In her welcome speech, Ms. Salpi Moughalian, the head of the elementary department, said that the path of preschool graduates was not easy in the last two years, coinciding with the socio-economic upheaval and the corona pandemic in Lebanon. Despite all this, Mesrobian, as one strong family, was able to overcome the difficulties and fulfill its responsibilities to its students.
In his closing speech, Mesrobian's Principal, Mr. Gregoire Kaloust, expressed his satisfaction at the day's event, which took place in a well-organized and cheerful atmosphere that fills everyone's hearts with optimism and faith. He expressed special gratitude to the parents, who bravely and patiently supported their children, bringing them to a new level of education, which should continue towards higher education institutions. Mr. Kaloust stressed that Mesrobian will continue to offer the best to its students so that they could be well formed as human beings, Christians, Armenians, and successful individuals in the fields of life and education.
