On June 1, representatives of the Wells of Hope - Thalitha Kum international organization visited the Armenian Catholic Mesrobian High School and informed our students about human trafficking and its dangers, as well as the precautions to avoid becoming victims of that crime.
Nayiri Aslanian, Nesim Alawan, Lin Eliont and Elias Mumat met with students from grade 2 to grade 10 and explained in an appropriate way for each age group how important it is for each person to be able to protect their physical body and preserve their personal physical space. They described to the students what dangers they might face in social networks, in their environment and in their relationships with strangers, as a result of which they might be physically exploited. The speakers also introduced the students to the means by which they can monitor personal safety and be attentive to their relationships with others.
